Warrior Healer Project, LLC ("WHP," "we") runs warriorhealerproject.com, our events, the Warrior Healer Academy and the Warrior Healer Podcast. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We don't sell your information.
What we collect, and why
Event sign-up or waiver: name, email, phone, date of birth, emergency contact, and any medical notes you choose to share. We use it to run the event safely, contact you about it, and reach your emergency contact if needed.
Academy class sign-up: name, email, phone, and whether you're a veteran. We use it to save your spot and keep you posted about class.
Rim Job or expedition application: name, email, phone, where you live, and your answers on the form. We use it to review your application and talk with you about it.
Reach-out form: name, email, the topic you pick, and your message. We use it to answer you.
Email list: your email address. We use it to send updates about events and the project. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Buying a shirt or backing the project: name, email, and shipping address. Card details go straight to our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number. We use it to fill your order, send receipts, and keep tax records.
Showing up at an event: photos and video, as described in the event waiver. We use them to share what we do on our website, social media and podcast.
Who we share it with. We share information only with the services that help us run things: Squarespace (our website, forms, store and email list), our payment processor, and shipping carriers for shirt orders. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety in an emergency. Donations to the Rim Job go through GoFundMe, which has its own privacy policy.
Cookies. Our website runs on Squarespace, which uses cookies to keep the site working, remember your cart, and count visits. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may not work.
How long we keep it. We keep signed waivers and event records as long as we need them for safety, insurance and legal reasons. We keep everything else only as long as it's useful for the purpose above. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we need to keep it by law.
Your choices. Unsubscribe from emails with the link at the bottom of any email. Ask us to see, fix or delete your information by emailing johnny@warriorhealerproject.com. Ask us not to use photos or video of you, as described in the event waiver.
Kids. Our website isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign up for an event.
Security. We use trusted services and limit who can see your information. No system is perfect, so we can't promise absolute security.
Changes. If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
